Doesn’t this put the NCAA on the path to being an organization of 64 schools in four or five big conferences? Why would any other school field teams if they have to compete against schools that follow a difference set of rules?
If college athletics contracts, the biggest losers will be the bottom teams in the big confernces. They will lose all of the time and have no cupcakes to schedule.
