Texas A&M has been labeled a bully for going after a double-amputee cancer survivor using the 12th Man trademark. Here’s what you don’t know about the story….
Please note, Texas A&M originally told me the Bills did not pay to license the 12th Man trademark for use in their stadium, which I mention in the podcast. However, they later contacted me to let me know there is a nominal payment for that license.

July 31, 2014I’m President of the Oregon Aggie Club. I graduated in 1967 & 1969 in Mechanical Engineering(BS & MS), my twin brother and I gave Rev III to A&M. I started a web site to help Aggie business and promote them to the Aggie community, A&M threatened to sue me because I used the 11th Mam name in my web site. I guess I should have been a cancer survivor. Then it would have been OK!
It is great to say that the12th MAN is great in sports but how about real life and promoting Aggie business outside of the state of Texas. That was what I was trying to do. Again, I guess I need to be a cancer survivor!
