LSU Star Angel Reese Heads Reebok’s Newest Apparel Line

LSU women’s basketball national champion Angel Reese has experienced tremendous success in building her brand through name, image, and likeness. Last year, Reese entered a NIL partnership with Reebok. It was the first move made by the athletic shoe and apparel company after appointing Shaquille O’Neal as the President of Basketball. When the news of the deal broke, the parameters of the deal were unknown. However, it was clear that Reese would be ushering in a new era of Reebok’s imprint on basketball. The clothing brand announced that Reese would star in its upcoming ‘Not Made to Be Subtle’ clothing campaign this week.

The ‘Not Made to Be Subtle’ apparel line also offers lifestyle and sportswear clothing. The message behind the apparel is to uplift and encourage women to express their authentic selves through fashion. Furthermore, Reese has consistently championed authenticity during her collegiate career, even when her playing style drew criticism during LSU’s historic run in the 2023 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament.

“I love using fashion as a vehicle for creativity and expression in everything I do,” Reese said. “The Not Made to Be Subtle collection lets me do just that – with bright, bold colors and unique designs, I can express myself, tackle an intense workout, and show up with style every day in confidence.”

Reebok is pushing the boundaries with Not Made to be Subtle, showcasing groundbreaking design elements. Various products, including the Lux Couture Crop top and leggings, will be available. A studio editorial jacket and jumpsuit will also be part of the lifestyle apparel line. The line will be available on March 8th, marking a new fashion and performance-wear era.
