15-Year-Old Golf Phenom Signs With TaylorMade

TaylorMade Golf has signed 15-year-old Miles Russell, the AJGA Rolex Junior Player of the Year, to a name, image, and likeness partnership. Russell, one of the nation’s most decorated young golfers, recently became the youngest athlete to earn Player of the Year honors in the boy’s division, breaking a record set by Tiger Woods over 30 years ago.

Russell uses TaylorMade Golf equipment such as the Qi10 LS driver, TP5x golf balls, and P·Series irons. Russell expressed excitement about the long-term impact of their newly formed partnership.

“I have had a great relationship with the team at TaylorMade for years now and couldn’t be more excited to continue to work with them in the future,” Russell said. “TaylorMade has a history of developing the top junior talent in the world to help reach their goals of becoming PGA TOUR and major championship winners. I am looking forward to working with the team to reach those and other goals I have laid out for my career.”

In his most recent event, Russell made history by becoming the youngest to finish in the top-25 in a Korn Ferry Tour or PGA TOUR event. Russell also participated in two of the premier AJGA Junior All-Star events, the TaylorMade TP5 Junior All-Star and the Moon Golf Junior All-Star, and he won both events with less than 15 strokes. Russell won the 2023 Junior PGA Championship by seven strokes after shooting 18-under par in four rounds. He earned a spot to represent the United States at the Junior Ryder Cup in Rome, Italy, because of his outstanding performance at the Junior Ryder Cup.

“Miles’ record-setting success at his young age is nothing short of remarkable, and we are excited he chose us to support him in his growth as a golfer and continue to accomplish his career goals,” said David Abeles, TaylorMade CEO & President. “Identifying and developing the top junior talent in the world has always been a priority for us at TaylorMade. Miles and his family epitomize the type of athlete and human being we want to add to Team TaylorMade.”

With the signing of Russell, TaylorMade Golf has secured a rising star poised to make a significant impact on the sport. With the brand’s support and Russell’s proven success, the two will embark on an exciting journey together, poised to leave a lasting legacy in golf and the NIL landscape.
