Bill Belichick Partners With Washington Huskies Football for NIL Fundraiser

Bill Belichick is teaming up with the University of Washington football program and its name, image, and likeness collective, Montlake Futures, to host An Evening with Bill Belichick.
For $25,000, fans have the opportunity to attend the special event for the former head coach of the New England Patriots. The event is set for Oct. 4, the night before the rematch of last season’s College Football Playoff National Championship against the Michigan Wolverines at Husky Stadium in Seattle.
Belichick has multiple ties to the Huskies’ football program. His son, Stephen Belichick, who is now the defensive coordinator for the Huskies, spent the last twelve years coaching under his father in the NFL. Washington’s head coach, Jedd Fisch, served as Belichick’s quarterback coach in New England in 2020.
“We have a season ahead of us, and we need to raise money, and we need to be able to continue to provide at the highest level,” Fisch said when asked about the dinner. “And how many people would dream of the opportunity to sit down and have a two or three-hour dinner with a guy who’s won eight Super Bowls? We felt like this was a great shot at it, and we’ll see what else we can incorporate in that weekend.”
The collective’s initial announcement advertised the evening as “leadership, the state of football, storytelling, pictures and autographs throughout the event.” Fisch added that one-on-one time would be available for each participant.
Belichick has been involved with the Huskies during their fall camp, including giving advice to players after drills and helping with defensive scheming for linebackers and safeties, according to Huskies Wire.
The legendary coach has garnered numerous roles following his retirement from the NFL in 2023. Belichick has weekly appearances on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show and hosts The Breakdown with Peyton Manning on ESPN+. He also joined The 33rd Team, a media and technology company, as a strategic advisor and was given his own show titled COACH with Underdog Fantasy.
Belichick’s connections with the program’s staff have provided the school with a potentially lucrative NIL opportunity. Despite the hefty price tag, there will likely be boosters eager for the chance to sit with the eight-time Super Bowl winner while also supporting the university’s NIL collective.
