Former University of Miami (FL) basketball stars Haley and Hanna Cavinder are back in the news, announcing a new podcast, “Twin Talk,” in partnership with Betr Media. The inaugural episode debuted on Friday, August 11, with guest Jake Paul.
The Cavinder twins recently wrapped successful college careers at Fresno State and Miami, deciding to forgo their final year of eligibility after five Division 1 seasons. While the two were still playing, their shared TikTok account reached four million followers in two years, leading to lucrative Name, Image, and Likeness deals.
Haley was the Mountain West Player of the Year in 2021, and was named to the All-ACC second team in 2023. Hanna was twice named to the All-Mountain West team, and was named to the ACC All-Academic team in 2023.
Both Haley and Hanna reached over 40 NIL deals at their peak, notably working with WWE, Boost Mobile, and Champs Sports. This is also their second venture into the podcast landscape, following a December 2022 partnership with iHeartRadio.
“Twin Talk is back and better than ever!” said Hanna and Haley Cavinder. “We first launched an earlier version of this podcast in college, and we could not be more excited for our fans to watch and listen to this new and improved version of our story through Betr Media.”
Twin Talk will welcome multiple sports stars in their rookie season, including All-Star catcher Adley Rutschman, former Michigan basketball player Adrien Nunez, and LSU basketball player and TikTok star Flau’Jae.
Betr Media was founded in 2022 by Joey Levy and Jake Paul, and has since reached over 1.6 million followers since their August 2022 launch. Now, the Cavinder twins have joined Betr as Creative Directors, Content Creators, and Equity Partners, embarking on their post-playing careers in jest.
