Madison Reed, a leading name in the beauty industry known for revolutionizing hair color, has unveiled its latest innovation: ColorWonder Demi-Permanent Hair Color. This product allows customers to color their hair as they wish without using harsh products.

In line with its commitment to empowering women, Madison Reed is partnering with UConn Athletics and the UConn Women’s Basketball team, reinforcing its mission to inspire and support women in all aspects of their lives. As part of this collaboration, Madison Reed has selected UConn stars Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd, Ice Brady, and Morgan Cheli to be a part of Team ColorWonder.  They will represent the brand not just as brand ambassadors but as impact advisors.

“I’m proud to partner with Madison Reed and share how ColorWonder helps me have fun with hair color and express different sides of my personality and style,” Bueckers said. “From the start, it was clear that Madison Reed was a company whose values around team and opportunity aligned with mine.”

Bueckers started the partnership by going from blonde to Sparkling Rosé using ColorWonder.

Fudd expressed her enthusiasm for joining forces with Madison Reed. She emphasized confidence’s vital role in her success and how authentic self-expression enhances that confidence. Fudd hopes to inspire others to embrace their creativity and individuality in this exciting collaboration.

“As an athlete, confidence is key to my success, and I’m most confident when I can express myself authentically,” said Fudd, who will showcase the Bordeaux Flow shade. “I am excited to be a part of this journey with Madison Reed and inspire others to tap into their inner confidence as they flirt with creativity and hair color.”

This partnership offers UConn athletes valuable opportunities for exposure and business experience. Options include internships for class credit at UConn, equity stakes in Madison Reed, the potential to franchise a Madison Reed Hair Color Bar, and connections to Madison Reed’s professional networks.

Amy Errett, CEO and Founder of Madison Reed emphasized the brand’s commitment to empowering women across all fields.

“No matter who you are, where you come from, or what you do – from sports to business or cosmetology – women deserve the opportunity to work hard, show up unapologetically, and be rewarded for their talents,” Errett said. “With the launch of Team ColorWonder, we’re shining an overdue light on these incredible women athletes, creating opportunities for them to thrive on and off the court in the same way that is afforded to their male counterparts.”

The brand has taken a significant step to enhance its visibility by securing a multi-year naming rights deal. As part of this partnership, the Madison Reed logo will prominently feature on the court at both Gampel Pavilion and the XL Center, marking a historic moment as the first female-founded brand to achieve court naming rights at UConn.

Madison Reed and UConn Athletics have formed a groundbreaking partnership that enhances the brand’s visibility and deepens ties between the university and its alumni. Geno Auriemma, Head Coach of UConn Women’s Basketball, perfectly captures the significance.

“Madison Reed and UConn Athletics have an authentic connection through Amy Errett’s dedication to our institution as a proud alumna and member of The UConn Foundation’s Board of Directors,” Auriemma said. “Welcoming Madison Reed, a female-founded brand by a UConn grad, into our home at Gampel Pavilion and XL Center through court naming rights sends a strong message to our team of athletes, reinforcing that hard work, determination, and purpose pay off on and off the court.”
