The Icon Collective, an NIL collective that provides assistance to athletes at Grambling State University by facilitating name, image, and likeness opportunities with businesses, alumni, and fans, has announced a variety of partnerships and initiatives.
First, the Icon Collective is officially working with Print For Players. The company is a full-service merchandise company ready to assist college players with their NIL merchandise by helping players with limited or no experience with merchandise, NIL requirements, marketing, and social media to immediately launch their brands. They are also currently negotiating several deals to provide coaching/clinic opportunities and to promote apps through NIL deals.
The Icon Collective is the very first collective started by HBCU Graduates for HBCU student-athletes. Each of the founding members is an alumnus of Grambling State University, an HBCU in Louisiana. The CEO and Founder, La’Shanda Love started this endeavor to assist Grambling State University student athletes and has expanded to meet the growing need for HBCU students.
Additionally, they have released a series of merchandise products from t-shirts to crew necks with Icon collective branding. If you want to keep up with all updates or inquire about a partnership, their Twitter and Instagram outlines recent activations and their contact form is here.
