5-Star USC WBB Signee Jazzy Davidson Signs Shoe Deal With Nike

Jasmine “Jazzy” Davidson, a five-star University of Southern California girls basketball signee, has entered into a multi-year name, image and likeness shoe deal with Nike. Davidson joins other star prized high school recruits to join the brand including AJ Dybantsa and Jerzy Robinson.

Davidson, a 6-foot-2 wing from Clackamas, Oregon, has been named the Gatorade Oregon Girls Basketball Player of the Year three years in a row. She was a key part of the 2024 USA Women’s Under-18 National Team that won the gold medal at the U18 Women’s AmeriCup this summer while contributing on both ends of the court.

The Instagram announcement by Davidson confirmed the partnership and included a message from NBA superstar Kevin Durant: “Jazzy. You are one of us. One of one. Welcome to the family.”

Durant welcomed the new members of the Nike Basketball family as a part of a “This Family Isn’t For Everyone” campaign.

Davidson, 247Sports’ No. 3 recruit in the Class of 2025, went on her official visit with USC in February and chose the Trojans over UCLA, Duke, TCU, and UConn. Robinson averaged 26.4 points and 7.7 rebounds per game during her junior season at Clackamas High School en route to a Class 6A state championship.

“[My visit to USC] was 10 out of 10,” she said in a previous interview with On3. “It was perfect. The campus was beautiful. It’s a great school educationally, which is really important to me. I met the players and JuJu [Watkins] was my host, so just getting to meet her and getting to know the players was really cool. It’s a really cool family environment.”

Davidson will be joining a Trojans program that is on the rise with the help of Watkins, including a PAC-12 Tournament title and deep run to the Elite 8 in the NCAA Tournament this past season.

Davidson’s partnership with Nike before stepping on a court at USC shows the belief in her skills and value as a brand ambassador. Another strong season as a senior can push Davidson further into the spotlight and allow her to expand her NIL portfolio with other powerful brands in the college sports sphere.
