High School Basketball Star Bella Hines Signs NIL Deal With Jordan Brand

LSU women’s basketball commit Isabella “Bella” Hines has signed a name, image, and likeness deal with Jordan Brand, becoming the only active high school basketball player, male or female, to do so. Forbes reports that Hines signed a multi-year agreement and will receive a substantial compensation package, merchandise, and access to monthly Jordan Brand product drops.
Hines is a 5-foot-9 shooting guard for Albuquerque Basketball Club Prep School (ABC Prep). Hinds is the No. 23 player in the Class of 2025, per 247Sports. Hines joins her future Tigers teammate Mikaylah Williams as well as UCLA junior KiKi Rice as the active women’s college basketball players under the Jordan Brand’s NIL roster.
Before transferring to ABC Prep for her final year of high school, Hines played three years at Eldorado High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she eclipsed the 2,000-point mark and was one of the nation’s top scorers, averaging 32.5 points per game in her junior season. Hines had multiple NIL suitors in the sneaker space; her decision to sign with the Jordan Brand can be attributed to her love for the late Kobe Bryant.
“I’m a big fan of Kobe Bryant, and he always idolized Michael Jordan,” Hines told Forbes. “So, I feel like Jordan was a no-brainer for me.”
The Jordan Brand continues to be a leader in identifying and developing the next generation of women’s basketball talent.
“We’re excited to have Bella Hines join the Jordan Brand Family,” a Jordan Brand spokesperson told Forbes. “She’s a remarkable young talent who is joining an athlete roster that represents greatness for the next generation.”
As the college basketball season ensues, Jordan Brand athletes will be at the top of their game in the present and the future with the soon-to-be-added Hines.
