Panini America has developed a strong reputation for partnering with some of the top athletes in the name, image, and likeness landscape. This time, the sports collectibles company signed six top high school basketball players to NIL deals. These players include Arizona commit Carter Bryant, Washington commit Zoom Diallo, Baylor commit VJ Edgecombe, North Carolina commit Ian Jackson, Auburn commit Tahaad Pettiford, and Kentucky commit Jayden Quaintance. Each player received a multi-year partnership deal with the trading card company. Additionally, Panini America will provide each player with exclusive trading cards and memorabilia.

“We are excited to add these top basketball players, making them part of the Panini Family,” said Jason Howarth, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Athlete Relations. “Collaborating with this latest class of top basketball prospects emphasizes our commitment to celebrating young talent. We know fans will be excited to see their most memorable moments on Panini products throughout the next few years.”

This year’s McDonald’s All-American game will highlight the talents of all six recent Panini America signees, further demonstrating their marketability.

The recent auction sale of Iowa basketball standout Caitlin Clark’s trading card for $78,000 emphasized the rising value of sports collectibles, particularly within the trading card market for athletes. NIL partnerships further fuel the evolving relationship between fans and their favorite players, accentuating this trend. Notably, Panini’s expansive NIL roster, encompassing various sports, underscores the substantial impact of these developments.

Among Panini’s recent signees are Clark, Texas quarterbacks Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning, Southern California wide receiver Zachariah Branch, Nebraska volleyball star Lexi Rodriguez, Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola, and Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin.
